Usually in the morning at sunrise or in the afternoon at sunset, for the best natural light.
Get your cameras ready for the ultimate hunt for the perfect shot! Against the magical colours of sunrise or sunset, you will capture wildlife at its best and lock the most beautiful memories into your lens.
Birdwatching boat trip
Duration: 3 to 4 hours
Throughout the day, all year round.
Put on your hats, grab your binoculars and get ready for a full tour! Discover the rare birds of the wetland in their natural habitat, on a relaxed boat trip that is ideal at any time of year and satisfies even the most demanding visitor.
Wine tasting boat trip
A special gastronomic experience out on the lake.

Our boats & their capacity
Meet the boats that will take you around the lake. All boat trips are run with our business's own 3 boats.
- Features: 7-metre boats, small and exceptionally manoeuvrable.
- Respect for nature: specially designed so as not to disturb wildlife and to move calmly through the waters of the lake.
- Ideal for photography: thanks to their stability and manoeuvrability, they are perfectly suited to photography trips.
We have 3 boats with a capacity of 20, 13 and 12 people respectively.

We are open all year round:
- 12 months a year: Lake Kerkini is a living organism in every season.
- Always a unique experience: visitors can admire the grandeur of nature and enjoy a special experience, whatever the time of their visit.
What's included
The experience on our boats includes:
- Safety & guidance: an experienced Greek- and English-speaking guide and all the necessary safety equipment for a completely safe tour.
- Information: a live, in-person talk about the unique ecosystem of Lake Kerkini.
- On longer trips: on request and by arrangement, coffee, tea, water and snacks are offered on longer boat trips.
Suitability & accessibility
The boat trip is designed so that everyone can enjoy it:
- For all ages: suitable for every age group, with no restrictions whatsoever.
- Special care: boarding is possible for people with reduced mobility, as well as people with visual or hearing impairments.
- Please note: access is not possible for wheelchairs.
